Marketing Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing professional with creative flair for a key role in supporting the successful development of the overall marketing strategy for the school. The role is a part-time position, 18 hours per week all year round, for a fixed term period until 31 December 2024.
Reporting into the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, the role will cover all areas of the School from Nursery to Sixth Form. Specific responsibilities will include; * Creating promotional material such as school prospectuses and promotional adverts.
• Writing engaging written content.
• Planning and delivering content for distribution across all our digital and social media channels, ensuring consistent presentation of the Northampton High School brand.
• Assisting with managing updates of our school website.
• Attending key events (some evenings/occasional weekends) to take and edit photographs and video footage for sharing on social and digital platforms.
The role will also offer the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of wider marketing initiatives as part of a small and dynamic team of professionals.
The successful candidate will excel in creating eye-catching promotional material and engaging content. They will be a confident writer and communicator, as well as a motivated self-starter able to quickly turn around stories, ideas and drive projects.
They will have excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop, and an ability to use Wordpress and Mailchimp. Knowledge of Premiere Pro video editing software would be an advantage. A cheerful, flexible approach with a ‘can do’ attitude is also important.
