Hotel and Spa Sales Manager

Location: Shepton Mallet
Salary: £30,000-£38,000 DOE

Our Client:

We are recruiting for a luxury hotel and spa located in the heart of Somerset. Our client is developing an exceptional portfolio of high-quality, luxury hotels across the UK to create an unmistakeably unique experience for guests.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel and Spa Sales Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for hotel and spa services. This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, exceptional sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities:

 •  Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for hotel accommodations, spa services, packages, and corporate events.
 •  Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and relationship building.
 •  Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key stakeholders to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
 •  Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, advertising materials, and sales collateral to support sales efforts.
 •  Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
 •  Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
 •  Monitor sales performance and track key metrics, providing regular reports and insights to management.
 •  Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and customer preferences to anticipate and respond to changing demands effectively.
 •  Coordinate with other departments, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceptional guest experiences.
 •  Represent the hotel and spa at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand visibility and generate leads.

Skills and Requirements:
 •  Proven track record of success in hospitality sales.
 •  Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
 •  Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
 •  Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
 •  Proficiency in CRM software, and other sales and marketing tools.
 •  Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, events, and trade shows.
 •  Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
