Temporary Works Coordinators Assistant Temporary Works Coordinators6 months rolling contractLocated in Huddersfield (flexible working arrangements)£ 350 &ndash £ 450 per day VGC are currently recruiting for a the Temporary Works team and looking for a number of Coordinators on a major tier one contractor working on one of the UK s biggest rail projects in the Huddersfield Manchester area DUTIES
• Process the design briefs and ensure all the required information is passed on to the Designers
• Check the implementation and maintenance of the works
• Ensure TW documentation is adequately maintained within the site management systems
• Register or record the drawings calculations and other relevant documents relating to the final design
• Attending meetings with the site team to determine most suitable construction methodology and solution
• Ensure the successful demobilisation of the temporary works
• Ensure fully TW control including permits to load and deload
• Evaluate and appoint TW Supervisors
• Attend regular Temporary Works design review meetings to monitor progress on the designs to ensure they will be available for use when the site team needs them
• Ensure that those responsible for on-site supervision construction receive full design details with significant risks and design limitations are highlighted
• Attend regular Temporary Works Co-ordinator meetings to gain an overview on what work is ongoing on the project and be able to assist in other work areas if required
REQUIREMENTS
• Previously worked in Temporary Works experience understanding
• Civil engineering background
• Previous rail experience is a preference
• Must have completed a CITB or similar accredited TWC course recently
• Have sufficient knowledge and experience to liaise with the designers
• CSCS
• Civil Structural Engineering qualification preferred
