We are seeking an Associate Director to elevate our dynamic Data Management Function.

In this crucial role, you'll partner closely with the Director of Data Management, focusing on crafting data strategies and embedding a data-driven culture across various sectors. Your mission includes bringing valued experience with implementing a range of data governance solutions, such as Master Data Management (MDM), data quality frameworks, and compliance protocols, across large-scale enterprises.
You'll drive excellence throughout the data ecosystem, empowering our clients to fully integrate these practices, enhancing data literacy, and ensuring comprehensive adoption across all facets of their operations.

Responsibilities
 •  Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their strategic objectives are met through our solutions.
 •  Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data excellence projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
 •  Innovation and Solution Development: Lead the development of innovative data solutions that enhance client capabilities and drive competitive advantage.
 •  Team Development and Talent Acquisition: Identify and develop talent within the team, creating opportunities for skills advancement and leadership growth.
 •  Operational Excellence: Streamline operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations.
 •  Market Awareness and Strategic Adaptation: Stay informed of industry trends and market shifts to strategically align our services and solutions, ensuring we remain adaptive and proactive in a dynamic marketplace.
 •  On-Site Engagement: Periodically visit client sites to foster and strengthen relationships, ensuring our commitment to partnership and collaborative success is clearly demonstrated.

Requirements

Being a consultant at Intuita means something a little different to being a consultant elsewhere, we like to hire driven characters who share our passion and approach, bringing their style and flare. We see ourselves as trusted partners to our clients and believe in transparency, quality and integrity above all else, always pushing the boundaries to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
We also really value collaboration and teamwork, making sure we work together to solve problems and share learnings as a team.

As an Associate Director of Data Excellence, you will share these values but also bring your own personality and approach to the role. We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualities, but if you don’t fit these exactly and are interested in working for us, get in touch anyway – we hire people, not job specs.

 •  Ability to inspire, lead, and manage a diverse team of data management specialists, fostering an environment that promotes professional growth and high performance.
 •  Proven track record in large scale data transformation, either leading or executing initiatives across complex, multi departmental environments.
 •  Demonstrated expertise in data architecture, data management, and business data modeling.
 •  Practical experience with data governance, data quality, and metadata management tools like Informatica, Ab Initio, Collibra, Alation, or Ataccama.
 •  Knowledgeable in data quality, metadata management, and data governance principles.
 •  Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of guiding teams or functions.
 •  Deep understanding of key organisational domains such as sales & marketing, finance, HR, risk and legal, and supply chain, including their unique challenges.
 •  Engaged in pre-sales activities, educating clients on the importance of robust data management and articulating how it benefits the overall organisation with impactful, resonant points.
 •  Ability to see the wider picture, zoom out, and understand the collective ask.
 •  Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong drive for success
 •  Strong business acumen with the ability to form relationships and drive business growth.

Nice to Have:

 •  Prior experience in a consultancy setting, demonstrating the ability to navigate the unique challenges and dynamics of consulting with various clients and industries.
 •  Regulatory and compliance experience such as data protection laws and regulations
 •  Full lifecycle implementation: Experience in the full lifecycle implementation of data management tools such as Collibra, Ataccama etc, from initial planning and configuration through to deployment and user training
 •  Other professional qualifications in the data governance field
 •  Ability to develop and deliver training programmes to ensure end consumers can both leverage and thrive across tools implemented.
 •  Ability to represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and panels, contributing to the broader community and enhancing the firm’s visibility and reputation.

Benefits

We're not a standard consultancy and neither are our benefits - they are enhanced as we pride ourselves on having a people-first culture which sets us apart from other consultancies and organisations. You can view more on our Benefits here, but as a further insight on how we look after our people, we offer the following support and opportunities:

💰Salary – it’s important, we know! We are seeking a range for this role which would generally cover £85000 to £100000 per annum (as a full time salary, pro rata based on hours less then 37.5hr p/w.)

🏠 (Really) flexible and hybrid working: most companies say they offer flexible working, but they’ve never experienced flexible working at Intuita. We offer hybrid working as standard, flexible hours and part-time roles to fit your lifestyle. We have three UK offices in Newbury, London and Liverpool, which you’re welcome to switch between as much or as little as you like.
We also organise regular social events at each office to ensure we maintain our close-knit feel.

🧠 Care for your health and wellbeing: we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our team. We offer comprehensive company-paid medical insurance, free therapy and mental health support via Spill, a team of in-house Mental Health First Aiders, plus financial education and consultations.

🚀 Incredible training and learning opportunities: our team is full of talented individuals who are genuine experts in what they do. You’ll get to work alongside them and learn from the best, as well as boosting your skills and knowledge with our knowledge sharing sessions, mentoring and company-paid certifications.

✨ Freedom and empowerment: we allow our consultants to actually be consultants, not just bodies. You’re given the responsibility and accountability to really own problems and are encouraged to explore new directions and opportunities. There are no glass ceilings here and we don’t have salary or promotion review dates – we reward people as and when we see good work.

🧑🤝🧑 A supportive, friendly team: we work hard but enjoy working hard together. We’re a diverse and inclusive team who enjoy silly Slack conversations and regular social events, and our relatively flat structure means that everyone has an equal voice.

If you like the sound of Intuita, apply to join us today! Once you have submitted your application, we will be in touch.
