Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a machinery manufacturer to recruit a Hydraulic Design Engineer to join their Leeds facility.
Our client is looking for a Hydraulic Design Engineer who has a passion for Engineering, thrives in a fast-paced environment and relishes the opportunity to learn new skills.
The hydraulic Design Engineer will be responsible for:
Design & development of products, manifolds and unit assembly both existing & new, through to launch and through life
Provide technical design support to the engineering team, sales team and customers
Preparing reports to demonstrate technical progress on projects
BOM creation
Research & development to create design prototypes
Resolve product development issues through creative testing and re-engineering
Perform necessary technical calculations and testing to ensure functionality
We would be keen to speak with Hydraulic Design Engineers with the following:
A degree qualification or equivalent in mechanical engineering
Experience in hydraulic unit and mechanical design, in heavy industry
Proficient and fully conversant in Solidworks
Experience in Epicor, Jobshop, MS Project
Experience and knowledge of FEA & CFD (or similar)
