Senior Purchasing Specialist
We have an opportunity to join a global and award-winning healthcare company based in Witney, renowned for its commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities: As a Senior Purchasing Specialist, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for purchasing operations activities within indirect categories and subcategories across our Witney site. Your primary duties will include:
• Leading a small team and collaborating closely with key stakeholders to ensure seamless purchasing operations.
• Overseeing the efficient conversion of purchase requisitions to orders as the administrator of the site purchase requisition system.
• Supporting the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs), Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), and ordering documentation in alignment with agreed site Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Initiating innovative approaches to enhance procurement processes, reduce cycle times, minimize acquisition costs, and elevate customer service levels.
Qualifications & Experience: We are seeking a self-driven, results-oriented individual with the following qualifications and experience:
• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance, coupled with extensive experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience and knowledge within indirect purchasing and/or procurement is ideal.
• Some leadership skills would be advantageous.
Key Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate effective relationships with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
• Adept at identifying and implementing innovative solutions to streamline procurement processes and optimize performance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
