They are seeking a skilled and experience Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within their manufacturing facility.
(Maintenance Engineer) - Position Overview
Conduct routine maintenance inspections of electrical systems, machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed to minimise downtime and production interruptions.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment and prevent failures.
Install, calibrate and maintain electrical components such as motors, generators, transformers and control systems.
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, diagnose problems and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections and parts inventory.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.(Maintenance Engineer) - Position Requirements
Proven experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits and components, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automation systems is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations and company policies.(Maintenance Engineer) - Position Remuneration
Monday - Friday
40 hour working week
£31k - £38k (dependent on experience)
8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm (flexible)
