Grade 4, £27,562 - £29,459 (inclusive of local weighting) depending on experience. Full time (part-time working and job share considered). 37 Hours PW, permanent
Based in Hertford with the option for home working up to 50% of working hours.
Are you someone who is able to work well with a variety of different stakeholders, with good attention to detail and an understanding of how processes work?
We are looking for 3 new people to join our newly formed Corporate Support Hub. This team will play a vital role by supporting a range of different functions across the council to deliver great services to our customers. As a brand new team, you will also have the opportunity to shape its overall culture and input into how it should work on a day to day basis.
What will you be doing?
• Providing specialised and technical administrative support to different services within The Council, ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and legislation
• Processing service requests from customers, adhering to procedures and timelines
• Undertaking financial tasks such as invoicing, payments, and monitoring
• Managing office tasks including document handling and updating case management software systems
About you
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
• An ability to foster good working relationships with colleagues and customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
