Job Description
• Set up and operate various manual and CNC machines according to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Inspect completed work for defects and ensure conformance to specifications
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Work closely with the engineering team to resolve production issues
• Follow health and safety regulations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
The Successful Applicant
A successful Machinist should have:
• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist
• Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
