About the opportunity
The Key Account Manager is a critical management role that requires strong account management/project management skills to ensure that our clients are provided with first-class service. It is a customer-facing role and the ability to communicate very effectively to develop the relationship, engender trust and provide confidence in the Hyde business is essential.
You will be expected to build and maintain a high level of Hyde and client knowledge, often with a technical slant. You will need to be able to convey this information with confidence and authority. It is essential to have a strong desire to develop your skills and learn about new areas, to maintain and enhance the customer relationship.
Growth of the account through demonstrated performance as well as through identification of new opportunities will be key to your success. A proactive approach will be necessary, not least in seeking advice from others and learning from other members of the Hyde team.
Working effectively as part of a wider team is essential.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage the relationship with customer(s).
• Manage the supply chain à Internal & External.
• Resolve issues and escalations between Hyde and customer.
• Provide strategic input on behalf of accounts in scope.
• Orderbook management to expected standard.
• Contract Review to expected standard.
• Driving of PM best practice, using formalised Hyde tools, processes and documents.
• On the back of sustained positive performance, seek and secure further work packages.
Measures:
KPIs: On-Time Delivery (in Full), Arrears, Account growth, Contract Review Turnaround & RFT
Other: Collaboration effectiveness, Action & Risk closure
