Job Title: Store Person with Forklift
Location: Codford, Wiltshire

Job Summary: Swanstaff are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Store Person with Forklift Operator experience to join our client in Codford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of agricultural products and equipment within our warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1.  Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move agricultural products and equipment safely and efficiently.
  2.  Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders.
  3.  Ensure proper storage and organisation of products within the warehouse to maximise space and facilitate easy retrieval.
  4.  Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
  5.  Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to customers or other locations.
  6.  Keep warehouse clean and organised, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
  7.  Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  8.  Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely fulfillment of orders.

Qualifications:
  1.  Valid forklift operator certification/license.
  2.  Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or agricultural environment.
  3.  Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
  4.  Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  5.  Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  6.  Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  7.  Knowledge of agricultural products and equipment is an asset but not required.

Working Hours:
 •  Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
 •  Regular working hours with occasional overtime as needed
