Ideal Recruit are working alongside a manufacturing company in Warrington WA2 for a PPT Driver Position.
Shift Patterns:
Monday- Friday
Weekend when required.
Rotating shifts of 6-2 and 2-10
Hourly Rate: £11.44/h
We are seeking a skilled and reliable PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a powered pallet truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate powered pallet trucks to transport materials within the warehouse.
Load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
Move goods to designated areas using appropriate equipment and methods.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Keep accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as picking and packing orders, organizing inventory, and general housekeeping duties.
Requirements:
Valid PPT operator certification/license.
Proven experience operating powered pallet trucks in a warehouse or distribution centre setting.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
