Our client is a leading manufacturing company and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
The successful applicant will carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance engineer duties at our client's manufacturing plant near Scunthorpe.
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will join the shift maintenance team in providing effective planned and reactive mechanical maintenance support. Your duties will include the following;
Mechanical fault find and repair of modern production equipment
Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, compressors, motors
Gearboxes, bearings, shafts
Welding & fabrication
Toolroom work machining worn and /or replacement parts Candidate:
You will be an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer preferably with previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
You will be a a qualified engineer holding as a minimum NVQ3 or HNC/HND in mechanical engineering
You will have good welding and toolroom skills.
Hours of work:
12 hour shifts - 4 On / 4 Off Days / Nights
Overtime available
Benefits:
Excellent basic salary £43.8K + OT (Gross earnings £46K - £50K)
22. 26 days annual leave
