Job Title: SEO Content Executive
We’re looking for a full-time SEO content executive to join our fast-paced marketing team. Working as part of the SEO team, you’ll produce well-researched, engaging blog posts and articles for our website and external sites. The position is full time/employed in an office environment (not remote).
The successful candidate would be required to work from our office in Liverpool City Centre
Responsibilities will include researching industry-related topics to produce high-quality search-engine optimised content that engages the reader while also improving our search rankings.
You’ll have a great eye for detail, a passion for writing, and an interest in learning new skills. You will also ideally have experience working in a fast-paced content role where you’ve been required to meet deadlines.
Please note, you will need to submit a portfolio of writing work to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
• Producing authoritative and high-quality content for blogs, PDF guides, property listings, and more.
• Producing content that meets the department's guidelines and engages the RWinvest audience.
• Using SEO knowledge/practices to create content that is not only customer-focused but search engine friendly.
• Researching keyword clusters and incorporating these elements into articles.
• Using link building and outreach techniques to secure guest post placements on external websites.
• Proofreading and editing content before publication, ensuring that all content is factual, grammatically accurate, and original/free of plagiarism.
• Researching and staying up to date with industry news to produce accurate and engaging content.
• Liaising with key team members over content and strategy.
• Support the growth function across the business, ensuring our content is optimal throughout the sales funnel.
• Conduct keyword research and collaborate with colleagues to create new source material.
• Assisting with additional tasks required within the wider SEO/marketing team.
Requirements
Essential
• Exceptional creative writing skills across digital and offline channels.
• A strong eye for grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Fantastic attention to detail and content proofreading skills.
• An understanding of SEO and SEO content writing.
• Previous content writing experience, including store copy, blog copy, product copy and creative copy.
• Experience creating informational content, including blog/article/editorial creation.
• Experience in writing and communicating to a variety of audiences with a focused voice.
• A passion for all things digital and a desire to test new tactics and keep up to date with industry changes.
• Natural storyteller and the ability to create a wide range of engaging content.
• A creative flair and passion for the written word.
• Strong research skills.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced role.
• Strong-time management and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for writing and all things creative.
• A confident, can-do attitude with the willingness to go the extra mile.
• Experience and proficiency in using content management systems.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a professional content related role.
Desirable
• Advanced knowledge of SEO analytics and copywriting techniques.
• Experience working in the property or financial sector.
• A degree in Marketing, Creative Writing, or a similar field.
