Job Description
• Contribute to financial decision-making by gathering, analysing, and interpreting financial data.
• Develop financial models to support the company's strategic initiatives.
• Provide detailed reports on financial performance on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
• Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting exercises.
• Support the implementation of financial systems and software.
• Monitor and track the performance of projects and articulate drivers of good and poor performance, highlighting risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Support Senior Management and Board in the tracking and management of the financial delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Explaining, presenting, and narrating financial models, performance ratios, assumptions, and risks & opportunities to senior financial and non-financial stakeholders, including Board.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
• ACA, ACCA. or CIMA Qualified
• Experience of financial due-diligence, financial modelling, P&L modelling, and financial performance analysis.
• Understanding of accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in financial software and database applications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Confidence to present and discuss work outputs with senior stakeholders.
