Location – Tonbridge, Kent

Salary - £13.20 to £14.44 dependent on experience

Hours - Mon to Fri 07:30 to 16:30 and Fri 07:30 to 12:30

CALLING FOR MORE ASSEMBLY FITTERS!

Due to the continued expansion of our clients' manufacturing business, we are looking for additional fitters to join their very busy production team.

If you have a working knowledge of electrics, pneumatics, and hydraulics or are currently a vehicle technician or mechanic and looking for a change of sector then this is a great opportunity for you.

Responsibilities for the role of Assembly Fitter
 •  Fit and assemble fabricated parts or subassemblies
 •  Set up hydraulic and electrical systems including pressure testing
 •  Install Hydraulic and Pneumatic pipes and lines, valves, pumps, and motors
 •  Ensure the cable tying of hoses is completed neatly
 •  Complete electrical tasks such as laying, connecting, and securing wiring looms
 •  Complete fault diagnosis and ensure basic checks are complete on all electronic installs
 •  Dismantle faulty assemblies and repair or replace defective parts
 •  Able to lift and set large awkward components
 •  Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience for the role of Assembly Fitter
 •  Good technical knowledge of the products, with a willingness to undertake training to expand knowledge
 •  Good interpersonal skills
 •  Well-developed problem-solving skills
 •  Be able to work accurately in a lean manner to ensure efficiencies of build
 •  Excellent attention to detail
 •  A good working knowledge of electrics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
