Polytec are looking for a Design Validation Engineer for our client based just north of Cambridge.
Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test to verify performance and functionality
• Produce clear and concise technical reports
• Develop and enhance test methodologies and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective validation processes
• Reproduce hardware issues and assist in debugging technical problems
• Maintain laboratory and test equipment, ensuring proper calibration, functionality, and adherence to safety protocols
• Liaise with external test houses to conduct specialised testing that cannot be performed in-house
Requirements:
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience with Environmental and Electrical testing processes
• Solid understanding of Electronics and experience in testing electronic components or systems
• Proficient using a wide range of bench test equipment, including Power Supplies, Digital Multimeters and Oscilloscopes
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with EMC and RF test plans and techniques
