Salter Grange is now recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join a European Market Leader in the Mission Critical Sector for a high-profile Data Centre in France.
This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with a proven track record of working with Tier One Contractors to take the next step in their career and grow in a company with a healthy pipeline of work and ever-growing demand.
You will get the opportunity to work on some of most complex and innovative construction projects with a high-performing commercial team.
Commercial Manager Responsibilities:
Manage and review the commercial performance of the projects from inception to completion.
Ensure the CCS reporting is formulated accurately and submitted on time.
To ensure all projects are driven to provide the best value solutions and delivered on time and within budget.
Commercial control of the Division allocated to them.
Collation, review presentation, and the management of subsequent actions arising from the monthly cost reviews.
Manage the commercial team to engender their continued improvement and technical development.
To ensure all projects are driven to provide the best value solutions and delivered on time and within budget.
Promote continuous improvement with the commercial discipline of the business.
Manage the close of completed projects to the best commercial advantage of the company.
Regularly review business processes and promote the evolution of better working practices.
Commercial Manager Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Construction Management, or related degree.
5+ years’ experience in a Commercial Manager Role, ideally on large fast-paced projects.
Mission-critical project experience is desirable but not essential.
Experience leading and managing commercial teams.
