Our client is a worldwide supplier to the engineering sector, and are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to help develop the company further; receiving excellent company rewards, training and development opportunities.
What's on offer?
• Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 17:00
• £17.06 per hour, overtime available
• Full-time permanent position
Working as an Electrical Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for observing the drawing specifications, regulations and standards
• Responsible for adhering to the set deadlines
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Pre-assembly of electrical components
• Assembly of junction boxes
• Cutting and pre-assembly of cables
• Wiring of electrical harness, cables, components and junction boxes
• Pre-assembly and wiring of switch cabinets
To be successful within this Electrical Engineer role you will have a minimum of level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in electrical engineering. Combined with:
• Comfortable and competent working at heights
• Be willing to learn new skills
• Overhead crane operator/slinging (or willing to learn)
• Work overtime including weekend work when needed
• Work using own initiative
• Work inside the assembly area and outside in all weathers
