Class 1 Driver - Immediate Starts Available

Menzies Distribution are looking for an HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver to join us, providing a first class service with our team in East Kilbride. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.

The Details:

Location: East Kilbride, G74 5LP
Salary: £29,113.50 Per Annum
Shift Pattern: Rotating 4 On/2 Off Nights
Hours: 38.5 (based on a 12 hour shift) with 30mins unpaid break.
Holidays: 25 Days + bank holidays

Monthly Pay

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations.
Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer
Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
Assisting with loading and unloading

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

A full UK C+E licence
12 months previous class 1 driving experience
Excellent driving skills
No more than 6 points on your licence
No previous disqualifications
Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
