SEN Teaching Assistant role. Monday to Friday 8.30 - 3.30pm
Are you an experienced LSA / TA with a background in SEND?
Do you have the patience and understanding to support students with special needs?
Are you looking for a career that is rewarding yet flexible and allows a good work life balance?
Sennen Education are recruiting for a SEND teaching assistant to join a excellent primary school in Manchester. The role will be supporting children with SEND on a 1:1 basis in the morning then doing in class support in the afternoon. You would be joining a team whose aim is to provide the best educational, care and transition pathways for children and young people who experience difficulties with learning.
These posts are ongoing and long-term roles with immediate start subject to the relevant checks being completed.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location - M8 Manchester
Position - SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work - Teaching Support
Start date - ASAP
Contract type - Temporary Full time, potentially becoming permanent from July.
Rate of pay up to - £115 per day
Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
You will also need to be up to date with Keeping Children Safe in Education or be willing to undertake additional training
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
