We're looking to hire a Fitter to work at their key site in Long Marston to assist with the maintenance and day-to-day running of fixed plant machinery, maximising equipment reliability and allowing high level production.
Key Responsibilities
• Respond to and assist with plant breakdowns
• Repair and maintenance of machinery, facilities, tools, and equipment
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and performance of equipment
• Provide technical support to supervisors
• Support the wider team in achieving production targets
• Comply with legislations and legal standards
• Work within QHSE regulations
Key Skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic welding/fabrication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
Required Criteria
• Experience in the medium to heavy industry
• HSE knowledge
• Welding/fabricating experience
• Basic electrical knowledge
