Location: Wrexham
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum
Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

To ensure the maintenance, repair and improvement of machinery and equipment with minimum downtime and maximum efficiency.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
Reacting promptly and efficiently to breakdowns as and when needed.
Fault finding both mechanically and electrically.
Project work and modifications.
Plant installation and commissioning.
Comprehensive knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors and gearboxes.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and actively promote safe working practices.
Work with and coordinate contractors when required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Engineering qualifications or time served with experience in mechanical maintenance is essential.
Electrical qualifications or experience would be a bonus.
Motivated and flexible willing to work overtime and weekends as required.
Opportunity to train and develop within the company.
Can work effectively as part of the team or independently as required and supervisory experience would be a benefit.
In-depth understanding of health and safety practices.
Experience of working with multi axis CNC machinery would be a bonus but not essential.

Driving licence essential
