Rate: Band 3
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, up to 37.5 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Placement length: 3 months initally

Lucrative referral schemeJob Summary/Job Purpose: To undertake a range of routine technical duties in support of Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Duties will include: Manning the pharmacy reception, Assembly and dispensing of items against prescriptions and ward diaries. Providing a pharmacy ward top-up service to allocated ward(s). Receiving stock from suppliers within the pharmacy store.
Assisting in the delivery and collection of pharmacy items to and from wards and departments. To participate in rotas for bank holiday, weekend and extended hours working. Complying with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, Health Board policies and procedures.
Required experience/qualifications required to support the role:
5 GCSE A to C grade or equivalent Knowledge of procedures for pharmacy area attained through on the job training, short course and experience to Vocational Level 3
