Temporary Splash Park Attendant
Job Ref: Portsmouth 5247765
Pay Rate: £12.38 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 20 Saturday and Sunday, 8.30am to 7.30pm
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 5 months
City: Gosport, Hampshire
The Splash Park Attendant is responsible for appropriate customer service, monitoring users’ safe attendance and enjoyment of the Splash Park. Attendants work under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, who issues written or oral work requests and who may inspect work performed on a routine or emergency basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs the full range of duties in and around the splash pad, and ensures the safety of Splash Park patrons.
Clean facility prior to opening.
Check all equipment to ensure it is safe to use.
Manage entrance to allow public access.
Clean facility during open hours and on closure.
Works weekends and holidays as assigned.
Responsible for all equipment utilised in the course of the daily work assignments.

Qualifications:
Full UK driving licence.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Proven customer service related experience, with proven cash handling and accountability experience preferred.
Must consistently provide friendly, welcoming customer service to all Splash Park users and guests.
Must consistently display an attitude of cooperation and the ability to work and communicate well with others.
Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
