Import Export Operator – Package Overview
• Our Client is a Market leading Logistics company with over 40 years of trading
• They are now looking for an Import Export Operator to join their team in Gatwick on a full-time permanent basis.
• The company had gone from strength to strength over the decades and continue to push the boundaries.
• They currently operate a multi modal operation.
• This is a great company to work for and you will be given support, training and a realistic work load to ensure that you can carry out your role efficiently and effectively whist achieving job satisfaction.
Import Export Operator – Roles and Responsibilities
• Handling incoming calls
• Quoting jobs
• Processing operational export jobs and import job’s
• Liaising with all contractors, job costing ready for invoicing
Import Export Operator – Skills and Experience
• Candidate must have some prior export, Import and customs experience
Restricted Goods & Dangerous Goods, experience of these commodities would be advantageous to employment but not essential
• Good communication skills with colleagues at all levels as well as external customers
• Ensure legislative compliance in all areas
