Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children? We are currently seeking a Residential Children Support Worker to join our team at in Herefordshire . If you have a minimum of 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in the last 3 years, we would love to hear from you!

Position: Residential Children Support Worker
Location: Herefordshire , UK

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.
Own car and a full driving license in the UK.
Must possess an updated DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.

Individuals who have resided outside the UK for more than 6 months within the last 5 years should provide a valid Police Clearance certificate.Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care and support to children in a residential setting.
Promote a safe and nurturing environment for children's physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Support children in daily activities, including personal care, education, and recreational pursuits.

Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory guidelines.Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification (desirable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of children.
