Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of innovative machinery. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with experienced professionals to bring concepts to life and play a vital role in advancing our product line.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Collaborate with senior engineers to develop detailed designs for textile machinery, with a primary focus on hemp fiber decortication and cleaning equipment.
 •  Utilize CAD software (Solidworks preferred, but open to other major 3D CAD packages) to create accurate 3D models and engineering drawings.
 •  Participate in design reviews and provide input to optimize product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
 •  Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
 •  Support the transition of designs from concept to production, working closely with manufacturing and quality assurance teams.
 •  Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in mechanical design and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

 •  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
 •  Proficiency in CAD software, with experience in Solidworks preferred.
 •  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 •  Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
 •  Previous experience or coursework in textile machinery design is a plus but not required.
