About Our Client

Job Description
• Advising on all HR related issues - grievances, absence management, disciplinary, investigation and employee relations.
• Conduct grievance investigations and disciplinary investigations, including writing reports and making recommendations for future action.
• Assist management with taking minutes at a variety of meetings.
• Annually review all Company Employee Handbooks, paperwork etc., ensuring legal compliance and determining areas of improvement.
• Assist with recruitment - creating job adverts, posting, evaluation of candidates, arranging interviews.
• Work closely with the Health and Safety Department on annual employee health checks.
• Work closely with the Health and Safety Department on employee training requirements.
• Complete a monthly HR report for the Board of Directors - including stats on new employees, leavers, sickness absence etc.,
• Ensure that HR files are kept up to date with all requirement documentation (e.g., signed contracts, right to work in the UK).
The Successful Applicant
• Experience in a busy HR Advisor role is a must.
• A detailed and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, HR policy and procedures and experience of interpreting and applying this to provide advice.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional and appropriate manner.
• CIPD qualified or relevant on the job experience.
• Ability to regularly travel to all sites throughout the group.
