We have an exciting opportunity to offer a post to an enthusiastic and active individual to join our outstanding Neonatal Team.

We are an extremely active LNU in the South West, and have the capacity for 7 ITU/HDU cots and 13 special care babies. We also have a close link with our Transitional Care Ward where we manage the babies under TC care.

We are committed to the ongoing professional development of all our staff as part of a large medical school and very active research facility we provide many opportunities for education and research.

We are currently designing a new ‘state of the art’ Neonatal and Obstetric Hospital.

Our ANNP team consists of 6 highly motivated individuals who contribute heavily in shaping and developing the service, including the plans for our new build. You too could be part of this exciting development, and leading the way for future Neonatal care.

The ANNP rota covers all clinical areas: Delivery Suite, NNU, Postnatal and our In house Water Birthing Centre.

Shifts are a variety of long days, clinic days and nights. You will need the clinical knowledge and skills to work alongside junior and senior medical staff and provide leadership through education, research and quality improvement projects.

Applicants must have evidence of an ANNP qualification and be a NMP prescriber. You should be interested in training and sharing skills and have a willingness to learn and develop personally and professionally, as well as the experience and capability necessary to lead and develop a team.

This is a full-time post working 37.5 hours per week.
