Our procurement and Supply Chain team are on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our team as an Inventory Planner Apprentice. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to study towards a Level 4 Commercial Procurement and Supply Chain Apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience in forecasting, stock management, and analytical reporting.
You will serve as the central point of contact for future incoming stock and coordinating effectively across departments.

What You'll Be Doing:

 •  Managing stock intake information flow across department, ensuring timely updates and smooth operations from procurement to construction.
 •  Analysing demand insights to accurately forecast future stock requirements and proactively manage inventory levels to align with project timelines and cost structures.
 •  Overseeing stock reservation in Microsoft Dynamic 365, ensuring efficient usage, and supporting construction continuity.
 •  Providing detailed stock analyses and reports to support inventory management decisions, including real-time reporting and KPI tracking.
 •  Monitoring inventory transactions to maintain accuracy, enforcing stock reassignment policies, optimise warehouse capacity, and streamlining stock flow across depots.

Who Are You?

We're looking for a proactive individual who is eager to study towards a Level 4 Commercial Procurement and Supply Chain Apprenticeship. Experience needed;
 •  GCSE grade C/4 and above in Maths and English
 •  Experience of stock control within a matrix organisation
 •  Demonstrated understanding of supply chain procedures and inventory management practices
 •  Ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
 •  Proficiency with BI tools, Excel, and a history of making impactful decisions
 •  Strong written and verbal communication skills
 •  Skilled at critical thinking and developing strategic solutions to overcome challenges
 •  Good attention to detail with a sharp eye for identifying discrepancies
 •  Ability to juggle priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively
 •  Demonstrates resilience and takes initiative when faced with challenges
