They are currently going through a huge transformation onsite & as the Engineering Team Leader you will play a key part in leading & developing the maintenance team to ensure consistent availability of equipment.

Job Description

This business are in need of a Engineering Team Leader who will be working as part of a team, leading the implementation of efficient reactive & preventative maintenance processes. This is an exciting opportunity to be able to interact cross functionally in order to improve their engineering efficiency. You will also be required to work alone as well as part of a team & some key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Delivering electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance, utilising the skills from your team, with a hands on approach.
 •  Proactive planning and execution experience
 •  Repairing machines and electrical components, provide support when it comes to usage of machines and electrical components.
 •  Maintenance of site machinery and production equipment
 •  Fault finding and continuous improvement projects
 •  Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum
 •  A logical approach to problem solving, fast paced decision-making use of your technical background whilst also ensuring continuous availability across the business

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights rotating)

The Successful Applicant

You can be an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer looking for a step up, or a Team Leader already managing a team of engineers, ideally working within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. The successful applicant will have:

 •  Recognised Engineering Qualification
 •  Experienced using Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
 •  Ideally, 18th Edition trained
 •  Ability to fault find on both electrical & mechanical equipment
 •  Strong H&S understanding
