Resistant Materials/Design Technology Teacher
Contract: Full-time
Location: Peterborough
Start Date: May half term or September 2024
Pay Rate: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (TLR available)
Are you a passionate Resistant Materials/Design Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity? GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking a dedicated individual to join a reputable school in Peterborough. This full-time position is available starting from May half term or September 2024.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Resistant Materials/Design Technology lessons.
• Provide support and guidance to students, fostering their creativity and technical skills.
• Contribute to the development of the departmental curriculum and resources.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant subject-specific qualifications.
• Proven experience teaching Resistant Materials/Design Technology at the secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service or willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
