JOB TITLE: Cleaning/Porterage Cover Operative
LOCATION: JPMorgan, Chaseside, Bournemouth
REPORTING TO: Operations Manager
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday – Shifts between 7 am to 5 pm – 30 hours per week
PAY RATE: £11.44 per hour

Overview of the Job Description & Responsibilities:

Main Duties:

 •  Cleaning/Housekeeping duties to include but not limited to; Washrooms, dusting, waste removal, Kitchenette cleaning, common areas including reception, restaurant seating area,
 •  Covering Porters duties when Porters on holiday – this will include setting up meeting rooms for pre-booked event this would involve - Delivery & physical setting-up/reset of all furniture, equipment in variety event styles.
 •  Covering other porterage task and support to client as required.
 •  To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holders’ capabilities, according to the needs of the business as directed by the supervisor/manager.
 •  Uniform & training provided.

Person Specification:

 •  Must be reliable, trustworthy and have an eye for detail.
 •  Physically fit due to manually handling tasks which including moving furniture during meeting room set ups.
 •  A flexible and adaptable approach to workload.
 •  Good communication skills both verbal / written.
 •  Be able to work part of a team as well as working alone.
 •  A proactive/can do attitude to work.
 •  Must have problem solve and organisational skills.

HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
 •  Always follow Group and company policies and procedures.
 •  Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
 •  Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
 •  Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
