Isla Rose is searching for a factory operative behalf of a growing business in Wednesbury. The client is a growing manufacturing business supporting a range of industries with metal work and fabrication.
As a factory operative you will need to be flexible and be happy to help out in different areas of the business being a part of a small team. MIG welding is the main part of the role welding stainless and mild steel, mostly light work with some heavier builds.
You will be required to help out on other factory machinery like press brakes, punch presses and CNC.
We are looking to speak to candidates who have worked in the factory environment with MIG welding experience. Experience working on sheet metal fabrication machinery is an advantage but not essential. We are open to speak with candidates of varied skill sets as training will be provided.
This role is available on a permanent contact.
Key Duties
• MIG welding
• Fabrication
• Working with mild steel and stainless
• Press brake
• Punch press
• All factory operations
The working week is Monday to Friday 6am – 3pm with overtime regularly available.
Pay is negotiable dependant on experience with the range being £12 - £13.50 per hour to start.
