Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team and oversee a new build housing scheme in Goole. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction site, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
Implement and enforce health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement solutions to keep the project on schedule.
Coordinate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure specifications and requirements are met.
Oversee quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and construction.
Manage site documentation, including permits, drawings, and project schedules.
Prepare regular progress reports and attend meetings with senior management to provide updates on project status.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably within the residential construction sector.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
Ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and construction management software.
