Role Description:

Our client is dedicated to promoting inclusiveness and opportunities for all. As a Community Engagement Officer, you'll play a vital role in connecting individuals struggling with housing and debt to the right support services. This provision is part of the WLA UKSPF Funding and requires monthly assessments to ensure the improvement of 'wellbeing' scores.

Purpose:

As a Community Engagement Officer, you'll be instrumental in helping individuals access the right support services at the right time. Working closely with clients, health professionals, volunteers, and service providers, you'll facilitate access to local services and resources, aiming to enhance overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand and address the barriers faced by individuals struggling with housing and debt.

Manage challenging behavior effectively while working with clients.

Successfully meet targets through practical interventions.

Utilize IT skills for documentation and database management.

Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Conduct monthly assessments to monitor and improve 'wellbeing' scores.

Essential/Desirable Criteria:

Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with complex needs related to housing and debt.

Ability to manage challenging behavior.

Demonstrated success in meeting targets.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.

Previous experience in social care, mental health, or wellbeing settings.
