Your new company; A large national client are recruiting for a freelance Contracts/Operations Manager - Drainage for a project in Sheffield. Reporting to the Group Operations Manager you will be assisting the Project Manager with the day to day running of the project.
Your new role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Drainage Operations Manager to join a reputable company on a freelance basis for a minimum of 3 months. Reporting directly to the Group Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the drainage services.
Oversee the day-to-day operations
Manage and coordinate the scheduling of jobs, ensuring they are completed within deadlines and to client satisfaction
Monitor and maintain high standards of health and safety procedures throughout the operation
Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
Manage and motivate a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient service
Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, identifying areas for improvement and providing training and development opportunities
Monitor and control costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget
Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and contribute to business growth
What you'll need to succeed; Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, Strong technical knowledge, Proven managerial experience, with excellent leadership and communication skills , Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities, Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, Valid driving licence.
