I am working with a luxury retail company based in the City of London (flexible working), hiring a Management Accountant to join the team. The role reports to the Finance Manager and will work alongside a close-knit team in finance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a fast-growth acquisitive retailer.
Your new role
Management Accountant key responsibilities include:
Preparation of the monthly management accounts for the group providing insightful explanations of material deviations from plans, forecasts and historical trends
Preparation of consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital and cashflow reports, including commentary and relevant comparatives
Liaise closely with the sales team to reconcile, report and forecast revenue streams and gross margin
Deliver monthly financial reports to key budget holders, presented appropriately to allow decision-making and verification
Review and enhance accounting processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient use of available systems
What you'll need to succeed
Newly qualified ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
Experience in management accounting
Previous experience in a fast-moving environment.
Analysis of large volumes of data
Retail, manufacturing or wholesale experience
