A technology and engineering services company employing top-tier technical innovation, engineering, testing, and manufacturing expertise to ensure high-performance energy efficiency is currently looking to hire a Senior Engineer - Battery Systems.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of electrification programmes.
The Senior Engineer - Battery Systems will:
Take on a high level of responsibility across multiple battery systems projects, running in parallel.
Support the electrical DVP definition & planning activity, with a focus on electro-thermal performance validation.
Identify issues as early as possible to ensure relevant mitigations are put in place, implementing relevant engineering tools, including 8D.
Attend project reviews and provide updates from Battery Systems team to the project team.
Highlight and escalate issues to other teams within the electrical department.
The Senior Engineer - Battery Systems will have:
A qualification in Electrical or Automotive Engineering with relevant work experience.
Experience working with New Product Creation processes implemented by OEMs.
Several years’ experience working in a related battery systems field.
Significant experience with CANalyser & CANape toolsets.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience contributing to & leading DFMEA activity.
