Our client, a leading player in the landscaping industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Estimator to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in estimating for landscaping projects, whether in residential or commercial spaces.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering high-quality landscape projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Estimation and Budgeting:
• Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for landscaping projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare detailed and comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
2.
Bid Preparation:
• Prepare and submit detailed and competitive bids in response to client requests.
• Work closely with the sales and business development teams to understand client requirements and expectations.
• Conduct thorough market research to ensure competitiveness in bidding processes.
3.
Client Interaction:
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate the estimating process and project cost breakdowns.
4.
Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient project planning.
• Provide support in the negotiation phase to achieve optimal project outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience as a Landscape Estimator in either residential or commercial landscaping projects.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, techniques, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape estimating.
