Person Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

 •  Time served engineer, preferably from the Textiles/Industrial/Food/FMCG Industry
 •  Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
 •  Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
 •  Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency

Job Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

Working predominantly as the electrical maintenance engineer within a small team of seven, you will ideally have experience of fast paced manufacturing environments with an electrical bias, with sound working knowledge of both sides of engineering.

 •  Work in partnership with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
 •  Electrically biased but mechanically capable.
 •  Working within a challenging environment, getting stuck in and involved in ‘dirty’ tasks.
 •  Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
 •  Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
 •  Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
