As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance and reliability of key products. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing faults, developing efficient testing procedures, and managing our calibration department.
Roles & Responsibilities
Uphold Company Health and Safety Policy in all tasks.
Provide technical support to production, conducting fault diagnostics down to component level.
Create and update production test specifications/documentation.
Effectively manage the Calibration Department in line with company processes/procedures.
Collaborate with production engineering on new product introductions.
Maintain the repair database and offer technical support to the engineering team.
Requirements
Proficient in analogue and digital electronics, with experience in using automated and manual test equipment.
Hold a Degree in Engineering Discipline (Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred) OR have completed a relevant apprenticeship with experience.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the Defence Industry or safety-critical equivalent.
