Exciting Opportunity in Manchester :
We are working with a rapidly growing web-first lighting business located in Manchester. We are in search of an experienced LED product evaluator to join the technical team and assist with new product development and evaluation.

What We Are Looking For :
Someone to work along side the product team and lead on product evaluation and quality. Quality product lies at the heart of everything, success depends on the ability to rapidly bring new product to market. It is essential that capacity to evaluate and test product keeps pace with the speed of company growth.

You will be responsible for developing testing processes, evaluating product and maintaining testing records. You will do some testing yourself in our onsite facility, you will also work with our in-country labs and testing houses.

You should have a proven track record over several years of working with, designing and installing LED lighting systems. You will have a thorough understanding of LED control mechanisms, ELV circuit design and electrical regulations, and know our products inside out.

Your background might be in lighting installation, electronic engineering or theatre tech. Whatever it is, you will have extensive knowledge of the product design and build that we sell, and an eye that can identify the fine details that differentiate great from average product.

You may have worked as an Electrician, if so, you will need to show that you have specialised in LED products and systems.

Keen eye for detail.
Proven ability to work alone and in a team.
Self-starter. Able to take a lead setting up systems & processes.
Highly confident using computers & software.
Management & project management experience
5+ years working with LED products, including LED strip light, drivers & controllers.
