RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Wilmslow | Permanent | £26,000 - £30,000/year | www.cv-library.co.uk |
RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant required to join a progressive Architectural practice in central Cheshire. This is one of the best opportunities at this level in the North-West currently. Please read on for full details.
Our client are growing their studio. They are taking on more and more work across the Residential and Commercial sectors and are in need of additional support within their Architectural design team. They are currently home to around 12 members of staff and based on current projections for the coming year they plan to increase that number significantly.
Traditionally, their portfolio encompasses a nice mixture of Residential and more Commercial schemes. This could range from a bespoke, luxury townhouse to a Hotel or medium/high-rise Student accommodation building. They have some excellent new projects that have recently been commissioned to the studio and their experienced team is in need of 1, maybe 2 additional hires to meet the demand.
Their Architects run projects autonomously and this new hire will be expected to do the same. Support can and will always be available from Senior colleagues but a degree of independence and self-motivation is key.
What are we looking for?
• A degree qualified, RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant. Preferably with a minimum of 1 years experience working in a UK-Based Architectural practice.
• An ambitious individual. Someone that is ready to take responsibility and ownership of projects.
• A good all-rounder. Someone that can contribute across various RIBA stages.
• A Residential/Commercial designer. Someone with experience in these sectors.
• An individual that can adapt to different software programmes. REVIT & AutoCAD preferred.
• Someone located in Cheshire or South Manchester, and with the ability to commute to Wilmslow on a regular basis.
*This is an office-based role - A degree of flexibility can be offered with working hours*
