A highly attentive QC Lab Analyst is required for our market leading food manufacturing client based in the Andover region. In return there is an excellent salary of circa £25k-£28k+ dependent on experience with excellent company benefits including including a generous holiday allowance (with purchasable additional days holidays), a very good company contribution pension scheme, company bonus, excellent life cover, health cash plan cover and unique company employee extras.

The ideal Quality control Lab analyst candidate will have the following skills and experiences;
• Scientific qualification –eg A level, Bsc, Degree in scientific subject
• Experience of quality control, quality testing, quality lab testing
• Good laboratory experience, worked in a busy lab environment
• Good understanding of analysing results through statistical methods ‘
• Passion for quality testing, continuous improvement
• Experience and or good ability of sensory testing
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, team player and a can do flexible attitude
In this QC Lab Analyst role you will be carrying out routine testing of samples submitted to the quality control department. Key responsibilities include;
• Carrying out production analysis,
• Quality control of raw materials samples and tasting and smelling samples of finished products
• Carrying out sensory testing procedures, conducting sensory analysis, accurate recording
• Detecting any quality sensory issues to direct the sensory assessment panel.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for a driven QC professional with good laboratory experience, A level or above scientific qualification and a passion for quality control, quality testing to meet company objectives. Laboratory professionals with good sensory capability and interest in sensory QC lab work will be of real interest.
