Role Overview: As a Commercial Manager specializing in passive fire protection, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the commercial aspects of our projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the profitability and success of our fire protection ventures while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead commercial operations within a dynamic and growing construction company.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Oversee all commercial aspects of passive fire protection projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and profitability targets.
 •  Lead contract negotiations, reviewing terms and conditions to minimize risks and maximize returns.
 •  Develop and implement robust commercial strategies to optimize project outcomes and enhance client satisfaction.
 •  Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
 •  Conduct regular cost analysis and financial assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
 •  Manage client relationships, addressing any commercial concerns or queries in a timely and professional manner.
 •  Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in passive fire protection, integrating relevant insights into our commercial operations.

Requirements:

 •  Proven experience in a commercial management role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on passive fire protection or related disciplines.
 •  Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract management, and risk mitigation strategies.
 •  Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and resolve disputes effectively.
 •  Excellent financial acumen, with the capability to analyze project costs and develop accurate forecasts.
 •  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
 •  Degree qualifications in a relevant field such as construction management, quantity surveying, or business administration.
 •  Proficiency in relevant software and tools for commercial management and project planning.
