For more information on the Job Description and Responsibilities please click the link below. More detail about the role: Key Responsibilities: Act as the senior leader for the Care Group, stationed at a specified acute site, and deputise for the Care Group Director.
Spearhead the operational leadership within the Care Group, focusing on managing daily site operational pressures and leading the strategic direction to ensure effective, efficient service delivery. Be accountable for the Care Group's operational performance, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators.
Manage a significant budget for a specified group of services within the Care Group, with budget responsibilities ranging from £20m to £150m. Represent the Care Group in both internal and relevant external meetings, taking a lead role in advocacy and strategic discussions.
The Ideal Candidate: Demonstrates a strong background in operational leadership within the healthcare sector, preferably with experience in acute care settings. Exhibits exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and direct a diverse team towards achieving excellence in service delivery.
Possesses a keen understanding of healthcare operations, with a proven track record of managing significant budgets and improving operational performance. Is adept at strategic planning, with the capability to act as a forward-thinking leader, guiding the Care Group through both current challenges and future developments.
Holds excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively deputising for the Care Group Director and representing the Care Group across various platforms. This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery in Devon, contributing to the wellbeing of our community through effective leadership and operational excellence.
