Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in shaping the future of technology infrastructure? We're seeking a Technical Operations Manager to spearhead our Tech Ops team, focusing on network design, hardware provision, and ensuring seamless service delivery for our cutting-edge system.
This role, based in Oxford with remote working options, reports directly to the Head of Operations.

Key Responsibilities for this Technical Operations Manager Role:

 •  Manage and maintain technology infrastructure at customer sites.
 •  Design and deploy technology infrastructure, collaborating closely with customer IT teams.
 •  Serve as the technical authority, ensuring compliance with standards and driving hardware improvements.
 •  Lead resolution of level 2/3 Customer Support issues within SLAs.
 •  Act as the escalation lead for technical issues, both internally and externally.
 •  Develop team capabilities and ensure adherence to standards and processes.
 •  Collaborate with Field Services Team and contractors to support installation and maintenance.
 •  Chair customer meetings, providing technical expertise and support as needed.
 •  Procure technologies and manage vendor relationships critical to infrastructure.

Essential Requirements for this Technical Operations Manager Role:

 •  Strong leadership experience in Technical Operations.
 •  Proficiency in server/firewall/switch/UPS configuration, PoE, and IP addressing/routing.
 •  Experience in process development and documentation.
 •  Familiarity with server operating systems, Linux, and Android devices.
 •  Understanding of IT security, firewalls, and data privacy.
 •  Experience in computer networking and technical activities.
 •  Logical thinker with excellent organization skills and a proactive approach.
 •  Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google G Suite.
 •  Previous customer-facing experience and a full UK driving license.
