Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our warehouse operations.
Duties:
• Operate a forklift to transport materials within the Very Narrow Aisles of a Warehouse
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift
• Stack and organize products in designated areas
• Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records
• Inspect equipment for any maintenance or repair needs
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Skills:
• Valid VNA forklift operator certification/license
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and practices
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Attention to detail and accuracy in counting and stacking merchandise
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
